Because it's totally the woman's fault that some man can't control his urges.

Man, I just had this discussion over at the Sakura Con boards. My wardrobe doesn't say "I like sex". My wardrobe simply says "These are the clothes I look good in."

And the thing about date rape? Yeah, because you know *EVERYTHING* about the person you're dating right away...

Although...1 in 4? That doesn't seem like the right numbers at *all*. Or are they counting unwanted touching in that?

	As for the 1 in 4 thing - not a clue (ah, the joys of statistics) but I would guess that unwanted touching is probably included. I mean, it may not be full-on rape in terms of what most people think of as rape, but unwanted touching can certainly equally traumatizing. And now I'm curious about the real number and must go look. I think that most cases in those statistics you seem to constantly bring up would show that many of those girls noticed inappropriate attentions from that member of the family for a while before the unfortunate incident actually occured and didn't report it. Even if their parents don't believe them, there are always places to go for that.
