Nothing like High Holidays wank...
On the weirdjews community, someone starts off with a simple rant on how it sucks that people have to pay to pray in a synagouge during the high holidays. Normal discussion along the lines of "Yeah, it is unfair but the synagouge needs money" continues.

Then trouble starts as danyeris says that she's not religious and sneaks into the synagouge on the high holidays. This gets eyelid irate, and she accuses danyeris of being cheap and not "forking over a little tzedakah in the spirit of Rosh Hashannah."

The action gets eyelid banned, and then causes more stirs from people who think she was right.

In fact, some people get so pissed off that they create their weirdjews2 and advertise it on weirdjews. Reason? It's just the same! Only better! Oh, and we might be more Orthodox/Conservative because the weirdjews community is Reform/Reconstructionist (Although funnily enough their icon is of the Marx Brothers, and although I can't speak for Harpo and Chico, Groucho was nonpracticing.)

Mods of weirdjews get upset. Moderator of weirdjews2 says to stop whining, even though we took you're name we're not trying to be your rival, we're just shifting the focus to Jewish culture... although we're still more religious...

Someone gets annoyed with weirdjews 2 moderator and e-mails him offline. So the moderator posts it on weirdjews and weirdjews2, complaining that people are attacking him, thus bringing the drama back again.

And the wank goes on...
