Well... this is rather sad for GAFF. But you're probably right. We deserved it.

However, I do feel like I need to defend the overreactions of some of the members, though. Basically, Fujiwara had been pissing everyone off for a couple of months with his wangsting, post-whoring, and general stupidity. However, no one did anything about him for a long time. I guess this thread was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back for a lot of GAFFers. Thus the angry comments over what seems like a trivial thread.

Plus, it didn't help that he went all wangsty near the middle of the thread, then openly admitted in the same thread that he was just wangsting to try and get some sympathy.

But yeah, there are still a lot of things about that wank that can't be excused. GAFF is full of splooge nowadays, have you noticed?

Anyways, here's hoping that things will get better in the future.

	Heh heh. I agree, it did seem to cross some lines. Defensiveness on both sides lead to angry eruptions and bitterness. Maybe now that people can enlighten us with an outsider's view on the way we were acting, it'll help us to start reining in our tempers. :-) -denimjo (Reply to this)(Parent)

It's good to see that older GAFFers (although not that much older), and newer GAFFers are not above taking on each other. It shows that no one on GAFF is immune to not getting called on there actions. This is not just refering to Fujiwara No Sai but the others as well. The playground is leveling. Its amazing how a mistake on GAFF (wheather simple or not) can turn into a big meaningless war (if war is too much then conflict). I wonder why GAFF is not as appealing to people as it use to be? Perhaps the amount of flame experts, getting off way too much.
