Kind of a baby wank, but oh-so-hilarious.

Over on Bush_sucks, a concerned citizen wants to remind us that in Tsunami v. USA (actual title of the post) the US has offed way more people. What this has to do with Bush sucking, I'm not quite sure. Apparently something to do with relief aid vs. money spent on war in Iraq.

The comments are not nearly as wanky as they could be. I'm waiting, because if it doesn't wank more than it already has, I will be severely disappointed. However, someone has already mentioned Nazis.

EDIT: Unlike myself, Divineyaya thinks the post is brilliant. Or at least brilliant enough to repost it and then promptly forget where s/he got it from.

WTF was the OP even talking about? Apples and oranges... And unfortunately, in this case, you almost had to invoke Nazis. Makes you wonder what the Germans are going to offer up.

I honestly have no idea. The OP's journal is rather interesting, too...he has a post about thinking that hot girls basically have no bodily function and I can't tell if he's sarcastic or serious, but scarily he really sounds like he means it...eh, the crackiness of it cannot be summed up by me.

It's like he thinks that people killed by nature are somehow less tragic. Or that 60,000 is less tragic than 70,000.

Anyway, I sense few functioning brain cells.

I'm thinking the OP is one of those people who never got past the first sentence of any book he's ever read, right? Like, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth," and s/h/it raced off to bitch that the Bible claims God didn't create anything else. Seriously, did s/h/it hear the "thirty-five million" figure and leave off masturbating only long enough to type an outraged post to the comm without checking to see what it meant?

A little fucking research, people. Remember, kiddies, Google is your own bitchin' fetch-monkey, so use it.

You're assuming that the OP left off masturbating at all. That post could well have been typed one-handed.

Those numbers are being posted everywhere, and it's obvious that people have no clue what they really mean.

War is the most expensive thing to wage. Of course they spent billions on it, you always spend billions when you're moving troops, equipment, food and water for troops, etc etc etc, across an ocean and into incredibly hostile (in the desert sense of the word) territory.

In comparison, relief is much easier to handle and far less expensive. How many thousands of blankets can you buy for the price of one SCUD missile? How many tons of food can you buy for the price of a helicopter? It's all economics.

Plus, the US pledged 35 million to begin with. There will undoubtably be more money coming, as Canada has raised their pledge to 40 million over the past few days.

And that's not counting private donations, which, from what I've seen, almost ALWAYS outstrip the gov't contributions.
