Hold the lemons!
Not to be outdone by Pro Anorexia's wanky glorification of what some might consider an unhealthy lifestyle, there is now Pro Scurvy!. Join them as they studiously avoid the Evil Vitamin C and weep as they succumb to the temptations of cold, sweet orange juice.

My favorite part is when they advertise their wicked lil' parody in [info]pro_ana and, of course, no one gets it. Low blood sugar, I'm guessing.

Actually, C is ascorbic acid, but they're both in OJ, so I guess it's close enough. :)

It's just so scary... 'Cause really, they must know perfectly well that they're killing themselves... Don't they? It makes me want to lecture them, but I know they wouldn't listen, and if I went in and just said "Please don't get dead, KTHXBAI", they'd be all... adolescent about it.

I am a terrible person. I hate myself so much. Today, my roommates were sitting around at breakfast, and there was a pitcher of fresh-squeezed orange juice on the table. I turned to walk away, but one of my roommates offered me a glass and I...took it. And drank the whole thing. And if that wasn't enough, I drank ANOTHER FULL GLASS.

This is the greatest community I have ever seen.
