Maybe you're one of those people who think "anthropological" is a big, scary bad word.

You hit on a major pet peeve of mine -- namely, that using big words makes you a pretentious, wannabe intellectual. Not so. Using big words is often necessary for the sake of efficiency and clarity, and for people like me who have "big" words in their lexicon, it's only natural.

It's when you use them incorrectly that you get wanky.

So please be to not attacking people for using words that scare you.
