"what the fuck is a death disorder?"
Long time lurker, first time poster. :)

A small childfree wank, but it's all happening in metaquotes!

maidden quotes ass_ in the Livejournal metaquotes community:

isn't one of the reasons most breeders spawn is because they would like to be able to live long enough to see their children grow into adulthood? I'm sorry, but I think having sprogs that late in life is a bit selfish. Oh, sure, I'm sure they'll share special moments CHANGING EACH OTHER'S DIAPERS, but beyond that, the kids(s) will watch their mothers whither and die

and discussion, inevitably, takes place.

maidden: ..."If you don't want to molest your kids, don't. But don't complain about those who do -- those children will be paying the taxes that support you in your old age."

erdufylla: But how can you be so judgemental? No one is perfect. I have a chronic pain disorder...I still plan on having children.

mercuryglitch: having a disorder which may be totally treatable someday within your lifetime is not the same as having a death disorder

With such gems as: That's got to be a major turnoff from women. If your first experience with a tit is when it's sixty-six years old... /shiver

and

And people think I'm wierd for having a kid at 21...at least I stand a good chance of seeing my grandkids/greatgrandkids... which makes me think, hang on... you're saying that people think you're getting a bit old for having children at 21?! Really?

There's some sensible discussion going on, but I really only posted for the "death disorder" comment, because... well, how can you top that?

If you don't want to molest your kids, don't. But don't complain about those who do

WTF does *that* mean?

I was wondering that very thing myself.

I think, but I'm not sure, it's related to the "making children suffer [by dying from death disorder]" sentence at the beginning of the comment. But since she(?) also says that "they were born in Romania and the USA" - and if you thought giving birth at 66 was impressive enough, try two different geographical locations at the same time!

Yeah but child molestation and dying aren't even on the same planet. She should clean out her crack pipe, she's getting some bad residue.

Ah, but it's not dying, it's dying on purpose.

It was actually a pretty good rebuttal when read in context. The person before her had said something along the lines that "If you don't want to have kids, don't, but don't complain about people who do, because those kids will be supporting you with their taxes when they grow up." To which the poster replied, reasonably enough, that her self-interest didn't make it okay to create what she considered to be a harmful situation for the children. The quote above had the point about taxes on the end.

I think she meant that people think she's a bit young for having children at 21. But I'm afraid to click because childfree almost always makes my head 'splodey.

Since meeting the 15 yr old mother of a infant I take care of at the daycare, I've started thinking anything over 18 is great.

Now that's a suitable wank for using obituary notice boxes. Alas for a lost opportunity. :D

Somehow this commemnt reminds me that I want to see Harold and Maude again.
