Argh! The wank! This forum xForums wank about sexual orientation has been going on for quite a while now.

We start with a very promising *cough* thread title: "Homosexuality: dysfunction, disorder, evolution?"

Right away, we have someone declaring "Anyone with less than half a brain can see that the notion that this is evolution is bullshit!"

Then we get into "Homosexuality can harm people indirectly!"

It degenerates into semantics and logic definitions for a while, dips in and out of snippy wanky comments, repeats itself over and over, and is generally an uproar.

Highlights include "I didn't say homosexuality caused homophobia! Where did I say that? Oh, wait, I did, didn't I?" and right underneath, "We're baking a homophobia cake?" About half a page later, you get "That kind of comment is what makes people so defensive!"

At last count, the thread has reached 8 pages and driven off at least one newbie, who decided to make a grandstanding, dramatic exit. (Incidentally, xForums bans anyone who does this. They also enforce spelling and grammar. I love the place, most of the time.) I'm in this wank, too, but bowed out at about the third page, when I got tired of being sprayed. Oi.

p.s. Much to her credit, fae, who started the whole thing, messaged me with an apology for scaring me off yesterday.

I will stop abusing my comma key now. Poor thing. *pets it*

current mood: *thud*

12:31p - The OTF_Wank Idi Amin Obituary
He was born in Uganda in 1925.

He was a heavyweight boxing champ.

He overthrew the government, destroyed the economy, and kept severed heads in his fridge.

And now he dead from coke.

7:09p - Minor MSPD wank, but still funny
A person asks people of [info]marysues to join a site designed to help with writing, only to be met with this:

I don't like spam!

How dare you crosspost!

And I? I just sit and laugh because this is fucking funny.
