9:09a - *cackle* Oh, the vegans... how I love them. With ketchup.
Soooo, in yesterday's Dilbert, Scott Adam poked some fun at vegans. Yes, there are a lot of comments. Whoo!
Today, he does it again. And on top of the typical comments, someone decides to re-write the strip. AHAHAHAH! At last count, there are two more re-writes in response, both funnier than "Mike the Vegan."
(Ob. disclaimer: several comments, and I tend to agree, say that he's actually poking fun at non-logical extremists of all stripe. Oh, and he's vegetarian himself.)
(P.S. I had to join just to post this. It's too good, and no one should miss it.)

11:29a - The wank that keeps on wanking!
Someone posts a picture to the vintage sex commmunity, with the LJ-cut reading, "Rape?"
The first twenty responses or so are positive, until...
And later..."Are we trying to get wanky again?"
As I post this, the wank has yet to reach its high point. But just you wait!

The Pointlessness of Theist/Atheist Debate.
Six pages of self-righteous behavior, name-calling, and accusations of insanity on both sides.
We have an atheist, MadMordigan, saying things like:
Reading a conviced theist's arguments is a little like visiting a mental ward. You gain a glimpse into alien forms of thinking. While I admit its fun to point and laugh at the retards, I often come away sad and somewhat frightened by them.
Seriously.
We have a Christian, Douglas J. Bender, claiming he prayed a demon off his roof.
Seriously.
I'm an atheist, and like debating with Christians, but when it gets to this point, all you can really do is point and laugh.

9:11p - Good ol' fashioned wank about LJ itself
In case you didn't notice, there is a new LJ skin that shows up by default now. You can change it by going to the Browse Options page. Although some of the comments indicate that some people had problems changing it back.
Some people are happy with the layout, some aren't:
"It looks a lot gayer, and retarded." spawns many rebuttals, including an invocation of wank.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! ... hate hate hate die!" gets you accused of trolling.
"self-righteous cunts aren't allowed an opinion"
"now that you have managed to make this site even more retarded then it ever was..... how do i erase my acount?"
"wow. that was really gay."
"I DO NOT like the new skin!!! ... Sorry guys. I think this spur of the moment, no warning, everyone at once implimentation was a bad idea."
and that's only a sampling since I haven't gotten through all the comments yet. I'm not fond of the layout myself, although I could see myself getting used to it. Right now I am more annoyed that LJ is being slow...
I think the lesson here is that when LJ changes something, wank is sure to happen.

There also seems to be a couple people in the post who have made it their duty to rag on people who complain about the new.
