12:59a - More LJ code wankery
Eurisko97 faps about how the lack of invite codes is the end of LJ civilization as we know it omg! He also comments on how he likes that most livejournals are "of good caliber" and wants to see that it stays that way. Wank in the comments is small thus far, but I see it growing, and the original post is splorty enough to begin with.
Me, I don't know what he's talking about. Aren't journals supposed to be for snark, bitterness, and mockery?

3:14p - The Godawful Message Board takes on feminism
The Godawful Fanfiction Message Boards: no longer just for fanfic wank!
It begins when King Krypton starts a thread ostensibly to answer the burning question of "If the woman asks for it, is it really rape?" After about four sentences it turns into a rant about "man-hating separatist[s]" who claim that all het sex is rape.
Not content to have just one thread about "feminazis" on a board devoted to bad fanfic, he goes on to create another.
Occassional F_W star ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/userinfo.gif) ginmar (posting as "margin") takes issue with King Krypton's use of anecdotal evidence and fixation on the subject. It starts off nicely, but quickly goes to hell.
Despair! As white boys are mocked and brutalized by professors in women's studies classes! Amaze! That texts written by extremist feminists are being sold in college bookstores! Boggle! At the implication that if a book is being sold for a class, it must be taught as dogma! Admire! The maturity on all sides. Shut up! No, you shut up! No, you shut up! Hey, you can't tell me what to think, bitch!

shitlist on GreatestJournal is, AFAICT, a place to whine about people. Mostly these people are Those Mean Girls In High School (tm) and that immature bitch who plays Britney in your RPG.
Then _kitty_kat_babe announces "I really hate black people" (emphasis hers). The shitlisters, naturally, jump on her en masse.
Until killioughtta shows up to defend the rights of racists everywhere! Apparently, it's okay to call black people stupid and smelly if you don't actually do it to their faces, because they are! And they hate whites! killioughtta can say this because he is an upstanding, nonsmelly, pearly white... Cuban.
Follows a thread full of "Cubans are black too, dumbass!" "Are not, dumbass!" "Just because you were born there doesn't make you Cuban, dumbass!"
And then killioughtta goes and deletes all his comments.
Meanwhile _kitty_kat_babe, like a smart troll, has long since vacated the premises.
And this is why the Lurker is a lurker. Dude. :-O
