12:22p - Languages wank
Hi all, I'm new. *waves*
I belong to the Linguaphiles community, which is normally a pretty quiet place. First, MeritAten comes by and posts something extremely stupid about AAVE (African-American Vernacular English.) Most people would probably figure out that he's a troll in short order. Some do. Then, Jordarkelf expresses his opinion on the subject, and wank ensues.

Minervasolo decides that everyone needs to stop and think about what the tags on the fics they read say about them.
The problem with using too much fangirl Japanese in warnings is (a) the meanings becpome diluted and (b) it allows people to imagine they are reading something other than what they are.
Of course, she then goes on to say: So something I'm rather more comfortable with: yaoi. Yaoi, by definition, is very strong gay porn. No, not really, deary.
Wankiness is sure to follow.
I agree on the shota-con thing completely. It scares me. It really does. It's a whole new level of hypocrisy, even moreso than those damnable rapeissohawt fics.
But don't worry, I only TECHNICALLY think you're a horrible monster.
I, personally, love the line: Hm. If reading shota makes one a paedophile, then reading slash must make me gay.

8:05p - art wank
DeviantART is a free website where people can sign up and post their art and recieve feedback. There's a variety of categories and subcategories, but under their policy they do not tolerate "Ripping" meaning plagirized images or unauthroized us/manipulations of copyrighted images(although strangely fanart is perfectly acceptable) The admins of the anime sections decide to delete the Wallpapers-anime section stating it has too many "rips" to be save Wank ensues
Oft repeated arguments are why is this only happening to the anime wallpapers and not the games and movies wallpapers.
I'm an anime artist and I think this is great!
and Damnit Devart is anti-anime
