Apparently some students at the University of Northern Texas (I think. They're all in Denton, Texas and one has in her user info that she goes to a UNT) have decided to protest the DoMA by staging a fake wedding. One's straight, the other's bisexual, but neither have any romantic interest in each other. This doesn't come out until the first comment. The OP makes a bunch of veiled, slightly pretentious references to it. But he doesn't get it, as alittlenothing is quick to point out. Things go down hill from there as they start their own catfight/mini-wank.

--the OP makes a condescending reply that goes on and on. Honestly, I didn't bother to read any of it, past the first paragraph. But somehow it morphs into an argument about old history and whether or not he knows what the word "rape" means.
I almost wish that I lived in Texas, so I could have pointed and laughed at them in person.

God, I love Gaia.
The personals forums are infamous for harboring prostitution (for GAIA GOLD) and the like. So much so, that there's a petition to get rid of them. But, that's neither here nor there.
This really has to deal with a little chibi foxgirl who thinks that if only the admins created a place for the smut, everything would be all better. Unfortunately, Gaia's supposed to be appropriate for 13-year-olds. (Which leaves me to wonder why there's a Personals forum in the first place...)
At first it doesn't look like it'll be dynamic--just the usual smacking-down that goes on in Q&F. However, our protagonist will not let go of her idea that easily.
( Highlights provided for your amusement. Surprisingly, the obnoxious sigs are at a minimum, since there are only four or five people wanking. )
Tiny wank by Gaia standards, but still quite entertaining.

Uncle sm0t posts a story about their difficulty in ordering a sandwich.
Then posters Opalcat and Brighchee get into a fight over one of Brightchee's icons. One that shows a woman killing a rabbit.
This is deeply traumatizing to Opalcat.
Then chasep2001 starts in on a story about a brain damaged woman who's husband wants to remove her feeding tube.
What this has to do with ANYTHING is beyond me.
