9:53a - But I have a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabiieeeeeee!
So! My first post here. Seeing as my friend is one of the victims, I wasn't going to post anything, but after reading the culprit's excuses... OUCH it burns.
This wench over here, apparently called Ayonda thinks it's okay to steal peoples artwork and use it all over her site without credit or permission. Aimee is annoyed, and Ayonda refuses to take it down.
Some first-rate whining goes down on her message board, with Friends Of The Various Artists VS Ayonda And Her Friends.
Fun bits of mind-numbing logic:
I wouldn't steal my neighbours car. However, I would borrow a friends car, if offered to me when needed. If that friend bought to car from a stranger who happen to have stolen it, how would I know this?? The friend purchased the car, so in his mind, the car was his. I borrowed it on the same pretext. If someone came up to me and said the car was stolen but wasn’t their car, I would ask for more information on what makes them the car was stolen.
... Uh, but YOU stole the car artwork.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to spend my time with a friend who just lost her son. See, unlike others, my life does not revolve around the constant bombardment of useless conversation on a stranger.
Isn't there a law against this?
Yes, only I can bring up the fact that my child takes priority of my time since I am the one that spent 9 months creating her, 4 hours birthing her (without the use of drugs) and 2 and a half years raising her.
Apparently having a child keeps her from realizing that stealing is wrong.
AND IT GETS BETTER!
Ayonda Fangirl #4 creates an OMG YOU ARE ALL LOSERS thread.
What's funny is, Aimee's a professional artist will legal copyrights on her work, and has found this girl's home adress. I wonder if she'll use the excuse of having a child in court?
[edit]
Aimee's posts in the original thread, annoucing that yes she DID e-mail the culprit before she posted in her LJ, and asking once again to take the images down, have been deleted, and the thread has been locked. The point of this seems to be to make it seem like the artists didn't try to contact her at all. Pity there's all those witnesses.
[edit again]
Daitenshi and Ashley continue poking the art theif with a pointy stick, and I say what the hell, and alert her to how her hissy fit is being broadcasted. Now I'm going to go stand in a corner, very far away from all this, and giggle as it expands.
