8:11p - I'm on a wank roll...
...and I wasn't even looking for it this time!

Over at YouThink.com, Elemeno_P posts a question:

Do you agree with shooting and killing 20,000 Koalas in Australia due to overpopulation?

wolf_boy has issues.

Your concience has reached moral stupidity. You've achieved the point where your concience overrides logic and reason to the point of stupidity. You know nothing of nature or the part humans play in it. You know nothing of nature and the natural balance. All you know is "killing is bad" and completely forget that killing is a part of existance a part of life. You forget that the natural balance is a cycle of life and death where killing is a major part of the balance. You are so obsessed with your moral bullpoo of "killing is wrong" that you would rather create an ecological unbalance and cause large amounts of suffering and slow painful death purely because you so ignorantly have decided that humans the top predator and sometimes the only predator should not kill.

You and she are both complete stinking morons, and the morally stupid are really getting on my nerves. The complete lack of common sense and reasoning as well as simple lack of logistics ability is completely appalling.
That people who could love nature and animals so much could know so little about them, the natural world and how to protect it is rediculous.

That you could so completely forget that humans are a part of nature and it is our job to play a part in keeping the balance as it is every other living creature on this planet is asinine.

Youi are a moron Cryn Out and so are all the other morally stupid out there. Morals are supposed to protect and make the world a better safer place. They are supposed to be based on what's best for everyone and everything.

Your morals are stupid. They cannot work on a mass scale, they cannot function in nature and the natural world. It is simple stupidity. I am sick and tired of it.

The funny thing is, the argument is Yank-centric. Not one Aussie commenter.

8:29p - WHOA! Japanese Livejournal!?
Check out this article in the New York Times online about something called Channel 2... (Here) Call it a Livejournal in Japanese. Man oh man, this is one of those times I wish I had taken that Japanese class in my local anime store...

Random quotes:

In a society in which subtlety is prized above all, face-to-face confrontation is avoided, insults can be leveled with verbal nuances and hidden meanings are found everywhere, there is one place where the Japanese go to bare their souls and engage in verbal combat: Channel 2.

Insert Fandom Wank flashbacks here.

Unlike the real Japanese world, where language is calibrated according to one's social position, the wording on Channel 2 is often stripped of social indicators or purposefully manipulated to confuse readers. Language is also raw. "Die!" is a favorite insult - and the comments are blunt, often cruel and hurled with studied cynicism.

OMG STAB STAB DIE, anyone?

But Channel 2 is also a window into Japan's ugly side. Many of the contents tend to be nationalistic and xenophobic, especially toward Koreans. When Sony and Samsung recently announced a joint project, users attacked Sony for cooperating with the South Korean company. "Die, Sony!" read several comments. "Die, Koreans!" Many wrote that they hated Koreans, using a derogatory term to describe them.

My hed is pasteded on Sony?

And my personal favorite...

"Many people who write on Channel 2 are stupid," Mr. Nishimura [ED: the founder] said, making a statement that many Channel 2 regulars would agree with but one that will surely draw a flurry of attacks. "They cannot change the world by writing about it. If they really want to have an impact, there are other things they could be doing."

Hmm... that sounds eerily familiar...

Teh Stupid, it knows no bounds.
