11:39a - Just a small serial killer wank
Deadly is a movie based on real life Canadian serial killers Paul Bernardo and his wife Karla Homolka who tortured, raped and murdered three girls a decade ago.
Over on the IMDb boards boards, the mood is one of anger and disapointment.
Then good ol' stupidity rears it's head and they're off, yelling at people to read the book and worring about what Americans will think of Canadians if they discover the truth.

7:06p - Won't Customers_Suck think of the children?!
 not_hothead_yet posts to  customers_suck re. the lamentable tendencies of some people in the community to call children 'sprogs' or other such disrespectful names.
If you've got a bratty kid, talk about the bratty kid but knock it off with the automatic description of ALL kids as "sprogs" or "crotch droppings" or whatever; it's just too trashy.
Hilarity ensues. Her S.O. wades gleefully into the fray with insults all 'round! The amusing images are busted out!
Fun for the whole family! Bring the sprogs!

I bring you more knitting wank -- but this time with PETA!
Apparantly, Australian sheep have horrible things done to them. Knitters are urged to boycott all merino, because OMG TEH PUR SHEEP!
It is pointed out that bad things happen with quite a few other wool and non-wool related stuff out there.
There's also a highly amusing summary of just how teh poor sheep make it across the ocean.
Not very wanky, most of the com members are doing lots of mocking, but a light snack after a hard day's work.
