The members at too_much_info don't flinch at much. After all, this is a community brought together by the best stories involving bodily functions not usually mentioned at cotillions (the content might not be worksafe for some).

Which leads to the debate on whether ants qualify as "animals." Which segues into poking fun at furries...like you do (this part ends pretty funny).

It was all over until cathead001tries to set the record straight so that people will leave the ant torturer alone. "since i am a biology major, i realize ants are importent to the environment and that we would not be able to function without them and blahblahblah. but, there are MILLIONS of them on this earth, so i don't think it makes all that much of a difference if some of them get killed. and as to the torturing, well, anyone who gets all hyped about ants getting tortured needs to get their priorities straight. they are just ANTS. if u think ants getting torured is bad, then go take a look at all the damage in asia due to the tsunamis, and while ur at it, go take a look at all the pictures of the bloated corpses floating around. THATS what u should be getting all hyped up about-not about a bunch of ants getting tortured. seriously, all these people who made a fuss about ants being tortured need a wake up call."

Someone's giving up two cats and post about it in the Denver community here.
And on the Internet, there can never be anything about pets, ever, without causing wank. The inevitable ensues. I think my favorite comment so far, though I can't quite decipher it, is:
If i had things my way. id leave the cats, and take the people who attack those who... dont feel the love... id lock you all in a small wooden box , attach jumper cables to your nipples, and proceed to jolt you with about 450 watts of pure electricity and tell you... My isnt it wonderful being a lab test gone wrong. but then again these bleeding heart insipid little children find a value plastered on a television screen and all the sudden they are the self made martyr they have wet dreams about. Get a real friggin hobby and stop bullshitting your way throughlife with your fake ass causes and go do something.. i hear they need burial detail in asia at the moment.
I think it means that because of the tsunami, all of humanity has to stop caring about everything else and fly over to Asia to bury people.
And my city's been so wank-free lately, what with nary a riot on NYE...
