1:09p - Because tipping wank springs eternal
The worst part is, I actually...kind of agree with conuly.
Later, it spills over into customers_suck, where killhamster plays the fur card and gets a handful of "lol stoopd furryz" replies.
[ETA: apparently rfjason was banninated from customers_suck. Hooray! But now ilovescabs is trolling in his stead. Boo.]
[ETA2: ilovescabs spooge archived here in case of bahleetion.]

6:32p - When Directories Go Wrong...
Or at least the people who use them do.
A lot of people may know of dmoz.org, otherwise known as the the Open Directory. It's pretty much the biggest directory online, and is free to submit to, and free to download data from. It;'s the source of the Google Directory and a lot of little directories.
Sadly, it's also known for being very slow to update. So, another smaller directory decided to make a point. He set up a challenge where he submitted his directory to the open directory, meaning to prove how much longer it would take to have it approved than it would in his directory.
Word spread of his stunt though and after eight days the founder of open directory himself approved it and emailed him to tell him. Highly amused by this, he posted it to a search engine forum
Sadly, the folk there are not so amused. Complaints that the directory doesn't provide enough content to belong in the ODP are quickly levelled. another thread spawns off and people get annoyed. Things only get worse when someone toddles off to the ODP forums to complain officially.
Meanwhile, people elsewhere laugh at them, and a a rumour crops up that it will result in the founder getting the boot.
Me? I sit and eat popcorn. Isn't that the best part?
