An LJ user named ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/userinfo.gif) olololololololo "enough already" Troll posts a link to a webpage warning about a troll. The god of irony zaps the troll dead...or so we wish.
The link was actually posted to numerous communities:
anglican, apologetics, badpoetry, buddhists, christianbands, and ljchristians (one of these things is not like the others...)
The age old question of whether Buddhists or Christians are snarkier shall be answered.
ricochet_rabbit weighs in on the post in Buddhist, and appears to not be a troll. According to him (?) the OP is defaming him due to being banned from nonfluffypagans for something I can't find (deleted post, most likely.) However, there does appear to be aftermath still boiling over on that comm.
Sorry for posting...er... [checks] twice in a row, but this one amused me too much to pass up. I'm hoping at least one of the comms will explode in in the morning when everyone wakes up. Though apparently Buddhists like to stay up late...lots from them already.

9:31a - Minor, but amusing lj_maint wank
Some people just don't get it.
Brad posts saying free users on the Filetmignon cluster will be read-only off and on for about a week. Hardware issues; standard lj_maint fair, including the obligatory bitching by affected users.
Njyoder says "As a level-7 vegan, I'm offended by your naming of clusters after meat products." She is joking, made obvious by her later comments, and it's worth reading through for the megan vs vegan arguments and theories about the meatriarchy.
Of course there can't be a humorous post on lj_maint without SOME sort of wank, and spitefulcrow weighs in: "WHINER! STOP BRINGING UP COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT THINGS ON MAINTENANCE POSTS!" Njyoder's reply contains two spelling errors, which our 'grammarwhore' friend spitefulcrow points out in a not-so-nice way. It deteriorates into bitching about internet slang and blah blah blah.

Complete with wishes for the sick fuck's most vile death/rape/death at the hands of other prisoners, benefits of the doubt, legendary posts, song lyrics, whinging by members of his flist and requests for pictures as well as an anonymouse who popped up for the first few pages calling everyone a troll and something about how this dude was framed.
And a shiny new community guyrapesbaby, becasue if you want to celebrate crime, you've come to the right place.
Sadly, this one isn't nearly as good as the girl who had her mother killed.

My first time, and I bring around the tried-but-true abortion wank. But not aborted wank...
Vera Drake boards on IMDB brought on the wank spectacularly as the pro-lifers stir the wank pot. Thus, a five-month wank is conceived.
MoonsOfJupiter starts a thread entitled "Pro-life women are the real feminists." S/he cites a "recent study" which claims most women get abortions because of pressure from their menfolk.
This has the desired effect. Sage-brush1 starts it off with the one-liner, "You're a moron." Mario_Van_Nimoy continues with "I wish I could have aborted your post." It's debated whether or not these count as actual arguments.
selina_kittygirl_kyle posts a long rant including the lines: "Now please do not bring up all the imagined unadoptable children, the stats will not hold up that argument. The truth is there are waiting lists for adoptions for any baby, regardless of race or birth defect. Just because it is easier for their mothers if they go away does not mean they are unwanted."
(These kids, apparently, are imaginary.)
Euthanazia is brought up, statistics are thrown around, KhronoMike's stupid is showing ("I have never once in my entire life heard of a woman getting an abortion unless under the duress of some outside force."), kiwimummy, DCJerzeyGrl, and many others throw around their abortion street cred, and lactodactyl tries to bring up the message of the movie and is ignored. This continues for the next five months.
And I sit back and boggle.

I go to a small public school in a rich suburb where we all have our heads up our own asses. At a recent school dance some of the girls complained of being groped while they freak-danced. Color me shocked. At the next dance, without any for-warning the administration enforced a no-touching-while-you-dance rule. The kids got pissed off and held an impromptu parking-lot rave. The admin called the cops on the students. Now they are going to fight the man. (It should be noted that a good number of the people in the various threads have graduated last year.) Mostly juvenile melodrama, but I thought y'all might enjoy.
