Mel Gibson says Award Shows are Stupid. He also says that the Oscars treated his movie as a political football and wouldn't reward it (just them, huh?). And that it's really all about marketing. (Yeah, Million Dollar Baby sure saturated the market.)
I wonder if he was thinking this when he got the award for Braveheart.

8:42p - learn to love women and dogs - the genius factor
Oh this is ...unique. By chance I was directed to a forum called Genius Forum.
Which has a lovely thread called Woman: An Exposition for the Advanced Mind tacked to the top of the forum.
As I'm a woman, I thought it might be interesting to see how my gender figures into the genius factor.
Unfortunately, it appears I have no potential and no soul. The only potential is masculine, femininity is filth.
But we all know that women are the decorative sex and that they acquire most of what they want from life by charming others. And we all know that men are simpler, more straightforward, problem-solving machines. I don't see any point in pretending this isn't so.
