I can't believe this hasn't been posted yet...

In a locked post in feminist_rage, members are alerted to a serial-adder called anti_femrage, a self-proclaimed feminist who, well, wants to rage about the ragers. There is the usual grumblings and proud announcements of, "Well, it's banned from my journal!" Nothing to see there, really, and it's locked, so there's no point in linking.

The f_r member's annoyance carries over to here in anti_femrage's journal. Quite short - 45 comments - but notable for this quote from her(?):

And now, my pressing question for the members of feminist_rage: why hasn't there been a rage about the terribly offensive use of the word "hyMEN" to refer to an aspect of wymynynynywhateverthefuck's physical virginity? Is that heteronormative? Or just masculine-normative?

islam_like_whoa is a community dedicated to light-hearted discussions of Islam. From its userinfo:

Hey, religion is a fandom too!

This community is a place for light-hearted discussions on religions and religion-related matters, though the main focus will be on Islam. When we say light-hearted, we so mean light-hearted, yes? Everything posted and shared here should be taken with an open mind.

The two mods, dachinchilla and serabut are Muslim. Members of this community constitute Muslims, non-Muslims, ex-Muslims, and everything in between. Everyone's welcome to speak, and no one is typically picked on for their views. Not taking things too seriously is key here.

A regular feature on islam_like_whoa are the (somewhat) weekly Prophet Posts, where one of the members will write up a profile about the Prophets and compare them to pop culture.

On this week's entry about Moses, crypto2006 posts in OMGLARGEREDFONT telling them that making fun of Islam is a sin and that they'll all go to hell.

Other members try to talk sense into hir but s/he keeps on, implying that the members shouldn't call themselves Muslims.

Some other folk (suspectedly crypto2006's friends) joins in the bashing.

dachinchilla gets fed up and posts an open entry inviting anyone and everyone to say whatever they wish about the community - comments, compliments, complaints, curses, so on and so forth.

And out they come in full force!
