12:53p - Adoption bad?
In booju_mooju, jessy1019 states that she is anti-adoption.
"I am anti-adoption. I got involved in the movement when I was still in high school, so it's been about nine years now -- began researching adoption for an American Law class and the summer after I graduated, I founded an organization called Adoption: Legalized Lies (www.antiadoption.org)."
She closes this post with:
"I will say that I'm honestly not looking to start anything here and have no desire to debate this in circles. I'm happy to answer questions, though."
Two pages as of this post. The comments keep on coming.
Holy cow my head's spinning. I'll give some highlights later as I find them. I need my bottle boobie and then my blanky and a nap.
Highlights as I find them or are tipped off to me. Not necessarily in order because I. Cannot. Wrap. My. Head. Around. This. I'm trying to refrain from wanking over there myself.
pradagirl: What do you propose we do with all the children given to the state or taken from abusive homes etc. Should we abort them or just leave them in the system?
jessymessybrain: This is answered many times above. Guardianship -- child gets a safe, loving home without having to endure all the losses of adoption.
queensugar gives jessy1019 props for not using the term "baby stealer". Turns out that jessynumbers does. When asked why, she says that she doesn't use it unless it "applies" and she doesn't mean to kidnappers either.
elizaveta weighs in on "against adoption". jessy-smarmy dishes out an I'mSoSorry and reads from her prepared file cards.
Sarcfest and minor furry reference here.
OMG dunBsew meen cawlin teh Opie n idot!!one!
Scarlett75 throws some logic and Jessy does the circle dance.
