10:33a - bizarre cycling wank
A little old, but with a large wtf quotient.
Cyclotouriste, a poster at LonelyPlanet, is looking for a cycling partner. Another poster points out that it seems more like a personal ad. Thus begins the batshit crazy.
Highlights include such gems as "The fact is that even if 9-11 had been nuclear, I still would not have warned you bastards well enough so that you could have done anything to prevent it." Bzuh?
It doesn't take long for the other posters to start referring to the OP as "psychotouriste". Good times!
ETA: except for the part where, despite my search, it has already been posted. Bah. Sorry about that.

I used to hang around the CarToday.com discussion forums a couple of years ago, then drifted away because it became too unpleasant. I occasionally wander past, though, and today's visit produced this:
A news article is posted on the board about a Sicilian driver whose licence was suspended because he was gay.
And thus the fapping begins.

It would be funny if the stupid didn't BURN so much.

12:39p - It isn't racism if it's from a minority!
Here we have some more DebunkingWhite wank. Dohnut makes a post about interracial relationships. It's also crossposted to his journal and, in a slightly different form, to Militant_Asians. Some of the comments on both posts are referring back to comments in DebunkingWhite.
White men who really understand the hateful, destructive messages sent out by white men/Asian female relationships don't date Asian females.
White women who really understand the hateful, destructive messages sent out by black men/white females relationships don't date black males.
This applies across the board for any and all interracial relationships between a white person and a "poc."
There's a lot from all sides. People agreeing, people telling the OP that hesheit is an idiot, people agreeing with some of it and disagreeing with the rest.
I think that BlackPerson sums it up perfectly: "Please tell me this is a joke. You're shitting me, right?"
The only person who mentions it outside of that post (in a public post, at least) is MissRuckus, here and here.
It's a lot of tl;dr from all sides on a fairly touchy subject (<-- totally trying to excuse myself from not nabbing choice quotes here, since the whole thing pisses me off). Interestingly enough, Dohnut doesn't once reply. It's mostly wanking and discussion from the rest of the community.

5:12p - 'Hotlinking Wank' or, 'How Rupionic Learned to Love the Taste of Shoeleather'
Rupionic, on the Evils of Hotlinking.
Rupionic hasn't got a clear understanding of what precisely hotlinking is. I can't really talk; I usually whimper and take my technical issues to ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/userinfo.gif) eljuno.
The thing is, Rupionic thought that her research had led her to a thorough understanding of the subject, as we can see from her Epistle to the Hotlinkers, above. It even has its own kitten reference and humorous graphic, which I can guarantee you someone will hotlink.
The wankery starts here, with Lafeemechante telling people to 'be a sport' and take the extra 30 seconds to gack an image properly rather than hotlink. Looks innocent? Sure it does! Scroll down a mite and you see the gloves come off as she and Cypher smack each other around here. Accusations of 'heinous bitchery' abound! As you scroll down, the whole mess just keeps degenerating. I swear, I'm expecting a violation of Snacky's Law any second now.
The whole wank is shortish, but it might grow. I've got the very highest hopes for it.
