1:14a - Spinning wheel, turning round
If you thought knitting wank was fun, then hold onto your hats because we've got spinning wank! That's right folks, the noble art of making string has descended into the pits of VM that they so carefully avoid.
It all starts here where ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/userinfo.gif) eris_devotee 'outs' a community member mnsfibers as "producing sub-par product" and then selling it to unwitting consumers. She dosen't stop there, however, but also goes on to post the same message in the crochet community.
All heck breaks loose when the anonymice show up to defend the accused and then pitch a fit over the "public IP" feature of the anonymous posting and eris_devotee's need to post the IP address of every.single.anonymouse. It dosen't help any that the OP has a history of posting and commenting in an incendiary fashion.
The accused decides to plea her case at the knitty boards where she gets all the love and support she so desperately seeks.
overall, there's enough asshattery from both sides to make for a nice meal of schadenfreude. mmm..schadenfreude.

9:15p - A TRUE WRITER NEEDS NO EDITORS, MS. RICE!
Behold Fictionslamming.
It's - pretty clear that this flock o' critics is not the ideal place for those of thin skin to chill.
And of course, a 'selective' community is bound to bring the wank. it's just a fact of life!

Then, suddenly - crystania4, she of the deleted app arrives on the scene. Her intent? To SCHPLOO!
Seems she didn't wanna be part of the mean ol' community anyway.

10:38p - Pro Ana Cosplay Wank? (did we need those two combined?)
I almost posted this in fandom wank, because it sort of has to do with cosplay and/or anime, but the wank was really centered on the pro-ana, so i went for otf wank.
Recently over at LJ today, in cosplay_com, lil_wyte advertised a Pro Ana Cosplay community that started very small wank there before the entry was deleted.
theannadoom joined the community and posted 'You people need help. http://www.cosplayplus.com/ ' to (intentionally or not) create some wank. Entry has since been deleted
It's not huge wank, but englishpigdog posted a lovely picture for everyone to admire
Also in the comments of said entry, include highlights such as "If you hate being fat...then grow up. .... Stop bitching and taking the easy way out." and "l0k at m3 i n0 h0w 2 sp3311!!!!111!!One!11Eleven!!!11111!"
Fortunately for those of us interested in reading wank, delta_red decided to post, to help educate all the people in the community, stating among other things "I eat three meals a day, including plenty of snacks, I'm 5'7" and I weigh more than 10 pounds under what should be my normal (healthy) weight, and I'm not even trying."
Her entry receives the first comment of "You're pretty fat." along with 40 other comments batting back and forth, including comments about gentital warts and the oh so helpful retaliation education about anorexia
