8:04p - Elevator Pissing Wank
Yes, you read that right, we have pissing wank. I couldn't make this shit up if I tried.
Anyway, feyandstrange make a post to dot_gimp_snark, getting all snarky with it with the homeless people who piss in elevators.
Things start out sane, with a sprinkle of word and attempts and problem solving here and here.
But then, beginning accuses feyandstrange of threatening to hurt people with mental disabilities On an unrelated note, beginning supports people pissing wherever the hell they want.
feystrange explains that there are safer places to piss -- and that many homeless can fake look "scruffy and poor" if they need to. mbif takes it personally. As a bonus, feystrange also explains she was homeless, and that the homeless in her neighborhood aren't "innocent". Drugs dealers, in other words.
EDIT: feystrange gives up (and overshares a bit) and the mod SAVES THE DAY! and people bitch about being PC in a snark community. All in the same thread, for your convience.
Oh, it was probably drunk people doing all the pissing.

9:29p - It's like Deja Vu All Over Again
I'll admit it: I'm a Flickr user. I'm not one of those high-octaine posting 1000 photos a day and top of the interesting list Flickrites, but I do enjoy a good discussion thread now and then.
Which is how I stumbled on this, a continuation of several other threads that have cropped up in FlickrCentral.
The basic rundown is going to be eerily familiar to a bunch of people here, I think.
"We think that there's too much modding going on, and the mods aren't nice about it!"
"Well, we work really really hard, and deserve lots of love and cookies!"
"But... I have all these great ideas, and you're just ignoring them to argue with people about other things!"
"Damn it, that's it, I'm taking my cookies and going home!"
