10:22a - Tiny lj_maintenance drama
Brad Fitz posts to lj_maintenance to inform AOL users why they're not receiving comments.
There are over 300 comments. Most of them are about how much AOL sucks or to inform Brad that other email services have the same problem, but there are a few gems in there. You've got AOL makes you gay on page one. Page two brings pigeonhed complaining about... something. It's not clear what he's angry about but whatever it is, it's definitely lj's fault. Page three brings us iwanttobeasleep who says That's what they get for using AOL. I have no pity for them. Ouch! Talk about a heart of ice! Alice23Kate on page four doesn't like people disagreeing with her, or calling her a comment whore, except that no one did. Plummet2misery throws in a random "you suck... i think your weird/racist too". Page five is drama free right now, but give it time.

8:52p - Making Wank
So one of Teresa Nielsen Hayden's neighbors turns up dead. She's a little freaked out, given that he's been decomposing under her floorboards for the past week or so and has only just now been discovered.
Later, she posts a follow-up in which it transpires that the guy a) was probably murdered, rather than passing away peacefully mid-Seinfeld as was previously supposed, and b) was a bouncer at a notoriously skeevy strip club.
She winds up the entry by noting that "there turns out to be a bloggy connection" to the place, as a couple of right-wing blog kiddies paid it a visit "three weeks before it got busted". But she makes the mistake of referring to the bloggers in question as "fairly lame" and "strikingly stupid" respectively.
In storms the first blogger, Karol, to defend her honor and accuse Teresa of Typical Liberal Hypocrisy because Teresa's spouse is performing with his band at a (presumably less skeevy) strip club as we speak. And - need I say it? - she brings all her friends with her.
Wanksplosion ensues, made slightly hard to follow by the disemvowelling of various comments, but containing plenty of intact gems.
