Hardly minutes ago, I pulled up from going to the laundromat to see ... two little black kids (about ten years old, one of whom seemed to lack the knowledge of proper fitting pants, hanging all off him) yanking a pit bull puppy around by a leash.
AND
I'm all O_O as they pass and junk, then two little white boys right around the corner squeal and want to pet the puppy. The boy tugging the dog around lets them, and the other one (the one with the ill-fitting pants) was screaming "NO HE HAS TO BE MEAN HES A PITT BULL HE HAS TO BE MEANNNN"
Naturally, people question the necessity of including race. penguinsane becomes defensive, but the thread seems to steer clear of NUCULAR LOLOCAUST, until rpkierstan makes the makes the standard comment about turning the SPOs abuse on themselves. penguinsane uses this opportunity to make a jab about hate crimes, and voila! Let the editing of posts and mod reports begin!
EDIT: Bonus: use of "colored." I'm now having flashbacks of a former asshole landlord who'd bitch about what the "colored people" were doing in his slums.
