2:53p - UC Davis: Prestigious University of WANK! And overreacting.
Over on the UC Davis LJ community, user ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/userinfo.gif) moditup posts a query about a Korean rap video or something broadcast at a local bubble tea place (the staff plays music videos from various Asian countries on large TV screens at this establishment).
Things go normally until dry_speakers jumps in with a bit of an overreaction about his Asian heritage, and how moditup is being an insensitive brute by "mocking Asians."
Nutty catfight ensues, with dry_speakers making several tl;dr comments and randomly cussing at everyone he believes is insulting him or his ethnicity. Wheeeeee!
ETA: And here we have the apology post, wherein dry_speakers backtracks and says he was being a complete ass because his dog died. I would think that, like Assburgers, your dog dying (though unfortunate) is not the best excuse for being an asshole and getting angry about a Livejournal post.

At the PostSecret feed at LJ, the Hope Line is advertised, as it is a worthy cause, and related to PostSecret.
porcelain_angel thinks that the hopeline is useless. Most people mock her. Some agree.
Included is a picspam of a cutter and something else which I'm not sure of what it is. Something gorey anyway.

So, over on customers_suck, honorh posts about a pregnant waitress who received a $1000 tip.

It takes exactly 5 comments for tigerwolf to come in and flip his shit.
This actually disgusts me. Some teenager gets knocked up and gets money handed to her because she 'needs it' while the rest of us hard working sons of bitches get nothing to show for it.
God.. That seems to be the solution to everything nowadays.. pop out a sprog! You'll get treated better and people will worship the ground you walk on!
Most people tell him to chill. Some agree with him. mercedeslove is particularly unpleasant supportive.
It's a sad world we live in when some teenager who can't keep her legs closed gets money for it. I guess that would make her a whore...maybe?
