3:11p - Ah, CF wank, how I love thee.
CF_Debate is supposed to be a comm where the childfree and the childed get together and debate things. But it's mostly been a "parents, justify breeding to us" comm.
sirriamnis asks if this comm is even fulfilling its purpose, or if the CF are just using it to badger parents. Much talk is made, Allegations of thin skin, and much said by the CF that parents should just start asking the questions they want from the CF. Note: There are 4 CF mods and two childed, and this is considered fair and balanced. Yeah, like Fox News.
So, after all this talk, akivakitty posts asking why, if so many CF are anti-child, why they insist on telling parents how to parent. This isn't the actual post, but a mirror. Because original post was deleted for being too general by Terajjin.
Then terajjin posts to say that akivakitty has been banned for harassing her in her journal. But wait! She was invited over! Oh noes!
And the wank flowed EVERYWHERE. I've been getting my data from childfreesnarks; it's a locked comm, hence it being left out.
On a personal note, I want to take Gwynnfar's icon and beat her over the head with it.

7:12p - How Stella Got Her Homophobia Back
Over at Oh No They Didn't, Guinastasia posts on author Terry McMillian being interviewed for BET's news special "The Down Low Exposed". (For those not up on the lingo, "Down low" refers to men - black men in particular - who carry on clandestine affairs with other men while keeping up marriages or hetero relationships. Said men often insist that they're straight; they "just have sex with men") McMillian pretty much uses the occasion to open fire on her "down-low" ex-husband (who happens to be suing her for support).
Guinastasia, in a wonderful display of Missing The Point Entirely, sees it as a dirty, dirty slander on gays, and pretty much gets the wank started.
-Terry, you need to have your gaydar fixed, because that boy was FLAMING. Get over it, you homophobic twat. If he cheated on you with a woman, would you still be crowing about disease? Probably not. Now I'm not defending the the whole "down low" mentality. But attitudes like her's are the reason many choose to stay on the down low rather than coming out and being honest and open.
