lesbiums_lover posts a picture of her rat holding and chewing on a razor blade with a lame caption about the rat "being emo because his sister died.

[info]ratties explodes.
167 comments at the time of posting.

Bonus second mini-wank is buried in the comments.

In there, we find out that lesbiums_lover isn't the brightest crayon, as she let one rat (Spektor's sister) die slowly after she used dog flea spray on it and the chemicals slowly ate through the rat's ears and skin.
To her credit, the rat was taken to a vet and given antibiotics for the systemic infection that resulted. This rat also had a "big tumor", and eventually slowly died at home.
She refused to have it euthanized because it would cost too much.
Of course, she also couldn't bear to kill the suffering rat at home because that would be cruel.
As though letting it die slowly from chemical burns and stress isn't cruel enough.

oneintheyarbles decides to beg to be banned from [info]stupidpetowners (one of the comm rules is that 'tattling' about entries being featured there is an insta-ban).

There was also a call to have lesbiums_lover banned for bragging about taking pics of her rat in dangerous situations and calling it cute, but that comment was deleted.
Whether one of the mods or the OP deleted it is unclear.

We also learn from several comments that it's okay to let rats chew on razor blades because rats are smart.
Unfortunately, hers isn't smart enough to know that it's not a good idea to chew on razor blades.
I'm still hoping that the blade end had a clear plastic cover on it and the OP has just been too daft to mention it.

Not posted to [info]i_wank because I wasn't really wanky in my single comment.

Edit: Damn, that was fast. It's gone already. HOWEVER, you may still read about it over on stupidpetowners.

The mods of ratties have posted this, in which a "wave o' bannination" was announced due to people calling the OP on her high level of stupidity "harrassment of members."

Remember, nobody can ever do anything wrong when it comes to pet care and telling them that they ARE doing something wrong is rude and horrible. ;)

Scariest thing is that lesbiums_lover is evidently a-hankerin' to go to vet school.
For the sake of your own pets, pray that she gets denied.

1:41a - Yahoo!Blog on women's expectations explodes in wank

http://blogs.health.yahoo.com/experts/sexlevine/12020/tick-tock-of-the-biological-clock

In which DebLevine, once a modern enough woman to write for Go Ask Alice and to write a book on cybersex, reverts to the 1950s ideal of true womanhood in a salvo of wank usually only found on a Focus on the Family website:

Women, how can you have everything? Turn the same ingenuity and creativity you applied to your career to the sometimes-considered-daunting task of finding a compatible mate and having kids. Instead of sitting around and waiting for reproductive technology to rescue you, sit down and figure out how to make the nuclear family part of your life work. Once you set your mind to it, it can all happen at the speed of light. Meet, marry, kids.

Unsurprisingly, more wank explodes. It doesn't start getting really hot and heavy until page 2 here, and Yahoo!Blogs doesn't have a link to post feature (lone emo tear) but for those willing to read, this thread provides the wank. We have childfree wank at various points, traditional values wank here and possibly elsewhere, grammar wank regarding foghorn_25 starting here and going on through the next pages (though I do wonder what, exactly, a "pshyco=analist" is), feminism wank at various points. This posting is a veritable rainbow of wank.

It's up to 682 comments, and the wank is still going on. . . and on. . . and on. Yahoo's featuring this on the main page for their SBC users (where I found it in the first place) didn't help matters.

5:09p - To pull out, or not to pull out...that is the question.
I know, you're thinking, "Didn't we answer that one in 6th grade health class?" Apparently not.

missmuffcake asks childfree At what age did you know that if you used the 'pull out method' that you would end up pregnant? Am I being an ass when I think a woman in her mid 20s has to be dumb to think that the pull-out method was OK to use and wonders why she is pregnant? Another mouth she cannot really feed on her own...

And my wank sense was tingling already.

Then ikilled007 comes along to announce Actually, the pull out method works great if the guy is not a putz.

Sirriamnis politely corrects ikilled007, who then pulls out (ha!) this astounding fact: Girls who think they got pregnant from pre-cum are delusional.

And it's on.

Highlights include:
>Point is, plenty of women get pregnant off of pre-orgasm man-fluids.
>How do you know? How do you know he didn't partially ejaculate inside her?

And the point where ikilled007 reveals himself to be a guy: I didn't expect an intelligent response from a woman.

Folks respond in kind: He's probably fucking a donkey. I don't think anybody's taught him the difference yet

But some girls stand up for him: You're being attacked for little to no reason, because of the inherent bitchiness of the female species.

And then fuzzyfruit wins teh internets: Because, of course, the plural of anecdote is "data".

Good times. And not one mention of chrotchdroppings so far.

A poster has posted some pics in Baaaaabyanimals which show baby puppies with baby humans (and is clearly labelled as such).

The very first comment bitches about the 'crotchdroppings'.

It can only get worse from here...

EDIT - All offending remarks have now been deleted. So now we can just enjoy puppies!

Over on [info]ohnotheydidnt, somebody posts an article regarding New York's demand to remove the trailer for Flight 93, a movie based on the events of 9-11, as it was upsetting too many people. In addition, it reports that the studio does plan to move forward with the movie, donating 10% of the first three days' revenue.

Perhaps understandably, wank happens everywhere, about every thing imaginable.
