Over in mock_the_stupid, cleverhandle has apparently had a post rejected for containing insufficient amounts of idiocy.
So what does s/he do? Post it again, of course, along with a sarcastic jab at the mods: http://community.livejournal.com/mock_the_stupid/2198977.html
Cue wank.
People point out that the person in the OP was probably trying (and failing) to be intentionally funny. But this is obviously not the case, as cleverhandle tells us:
Remember, I'm a professional humorist. You should trust my instinct for these things.
O RLY?
Then there's this exchange between him/her and the mod:
opalcat: Having now seen the rest of the review I would say they probably didn't mean it sarcastically, but I'd also say it isn't stupid. As a sarcastic review, I would consider it pretty funny. cleverhandle: I promise to submit more blatantly stupid excerpts in the future. opalcat: Good. That is the whole fucking point of the community. We aren't here for subtle, kinda-sorta-maybe stupid and boring crap like this would have been. cleverhandle: Don't get pissy just because your judgment is lacking and you get served on it.
Someone calls troll, but cleverhandle responds:
No authentic troll would win the popular vote for LJ president, let alone actively operate a personal journal for well over four years.
I mean, please. Calling me an LJ troll is just straight-up ignant. But if you insist on drop-kicking your own credibility into a Cuisinart and hitting FRAPPE, then so be it.
Thank you, Mr. President.
