9:36p - You knew there had to be Pluto Wank somewhere, didn't you?
Well, didn't you?
So here is is! Astronomer Phil Plait states the new definition of 'planet' and shares his thoughts on the whole mess - namely, he thinks that 'planets' as opposed to 'other star-orbity things' is a distinction that exists entirely in the human mind and all this dickering is silly.
Then the Internet comes into play, and other people with a weaker grasp on spelling share their views.

10:36p - Fake journals. Fake children. Real WTF by the truckload.
I can't even begin to explain all of this, but I found out about it through ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/userinfo.gif) fake_lj_deaths.
Apparently, a user in the LJ rating community nouglybabies by the name of cold_still_life was busted as a fake. Not only did they not have any children of their own, but they actually stole photos from someone else and passed off those children as theirs. They also passed off the father of those kids as their husband, AND via IP matching, they were outed as having no less than 37 (yes, you read that right-- 37) different sockpuppet LJ's:

On an even weirder note, at least four of those socks had babies that died, and there's a whole host of Buffy/Whedonverse style WTF thrown in for good measure, because apparently her "children" were named after different characters, like Cordelia, and she supposedly had a four year old that was obsessed with BTVS.
I'm just shaking my head at all of this. It's too weird for words. o_O

11:00p - Wow. This didn't take long...

Over at cf_hardcore, our favorite furry freetard freak with the self-cleaning anus crows about Steve Irwin's death. Comments vary from "how is this cf related" to "you thoughtless bastard" to the pure and simple "sociopath." Only an hour old, and already it's boiling over!
