12:04a - Two for the price of one!
Even Get Fuzzy isn't free from wank.
It begins with a strip where Rob wonders what's wrong with people. His immediate concern is Darfur, which Bucky chides as uninteresting.
The wank starts when continuouslife comments "Darfur: the cause du jour," causing oblyvia to ask what his point is.
"I think my comment speaks for itself.
Don't you think that there's something, oh, I don't know, disingenuous about something like, say http://www.darfurisdying.com being sponsored by MTV? Anyone remember "Vote or Die"?
It is the cause du jour, genocide or not. Celebrities and athletes and politicians will jump on this and "rally" until no more publicity can be milked from it. Then it'll be time for the next cause."
Wank ensues about celebrity involvement in various causes.
And there's more! While continuouslife and oblyvia (later joined by rosethorne and others) are getting their wank on, pandora1017 asks "What about the 650,000 Iraqis who've died because of the war (meaning, because of the United States)?"
Our old friends oblyvia and continuouslife get involved, figures are debated, and US-bashing is brought up.

Pretty small, but this is customers_suck, so it will no doubt balloon to epic proportions.
