10:43a - LJ Cuts: SERIOUS BUSINESS.
Oh dear. Who would have thought that a basic request for an LJ cut would go so wrong?
Meet ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/userinfo.gif) aegion. S/he has a stick so far up his/her bum that any and all requests for LJ cuts are triggering—at least, triggering in that they turn her into a complete asshat whenever they're asked for.
The first instance occurred in ourbedrooms, where a poster made a very image-heavy post. layersofmeaning comments asking for an LJ cut. aegion takes offense at this. Of course, her flipping out is okay because she's a role-model in the community, and anyone that tries to talk sense to her is too verbous, and a stylistic nightmare.
It quiets down after this, but oh no, not for long . . .
Enter naruhodo_kun. She makes a post to girl_gamers, showcasing a piece of fan art she drew. It's pretty large, and it's posted without an LJ cut, so aerynmoo comments asking for a cut. Alas, what she didn't know is that aegion was on the scene, and found her asking for a cut downright rude. She proceeds to flip out. Of course, she can't help it—those requests for cuts are a PET PEEVE, and turn her into a drooling moron. If you can't afford high-speed internet, the lack of LJ cuts will force you off welfare! But don't call her on her shit, or SHE WILL PWN YOU! Just like she pwned that "twenty something year old virgin", misscarlos.

1:38p - Type O Prejudice
bad_rpers_suck wank like you've never seen it before: someone posts a really bad Star Wars RPG application--par for the course on BRPS. Two comments in, someone makes a remark about why all wanky characters insist on having Type O- blood. (Has finding a donor match ever been a plot point in the Star Wars universe?)
kwanboa appears with wikipedia street-cred, extolling the virtues of his/her alleged blood type and wanting to know 'why y'all be hatin' on Type O-?' Patriotism is lightly involved.
This has gotta be one of the most specific, nitpicky li'l wanks I have ever encountered.
