So, over on ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/userinfo.gif) ohnotheydidnt, an article is posted that Folk singer/anti-war protester Joan Baez was banned from playing for US troops in hospital.
Enter hemloc: As a vet, I can guaran-fucking-tee, NO VET wants to see Joan Baez or John Melonhead....

hemloc: Young people hating war explains why "no one stood up or fought back(Save for an extreme few) in places like Columbine or VA Tech."
Now featuring; IMMA ARREST YOUZ: "Oh, please say you are threatening me... You do know I am in federal law enforcement, and under 18 USC 111, you can be prosecuted, right??"
Other highlights:
Icon bashing/age-bashing, "hippy" bashing, joining-the-army-for-college-money bashing, and the assumption that a veteran who likes Joan Baez = drafted, apologies and bonding over Jhonen Vasquez, praising his own celebrity, and I've been fighting wars longer and so am better than today's soldiers!!!

All the fuss over female circumcision shows just how random the whole debate is. Of course it is a horrible practice, but the world is full of horrors and injustices that require urgent attention, so why are we so keen to single out this particular, pretty farfetched one, that seems limited mainly to one tribal culture in one African country? 8:58p - If a tree falls in the forest, yadda yadda, can we still burn it?
Over on nonfluffypagans, fiat_knox posts about ... something. Somebody was fired for not showing up to work, two people were murdered in India, a murderous barber of the nonmusical variety, fiat_knox wants free money, white witches, and it all spells trouble. With a capital T, and that rhymes with P, and it stands for Persecution.
Predictably, the members think fiat_knox isn't very bright.
Also predictably, fiat_knox disagrees.
Somewhat unpredictably (unless you happen to be a member of nonfluffypagans), the mods aren't going to delete the kerfluffle. Instead, they let their feelings be known through the creative use of entry tags.
