Is it too early for "rolling in his grave" jokes?
So, as most of you have heard, Hunter S. Thompson just died. Disgruntledgrrl posts in wtf_inc (and other places) about her idea for a memorial/meme for HTS of posting one chapter from his books in your journal (without lj cuts...).

Njyoder decides a much better memorial would be wanking about suicide.

But not so much about suicide as how much he hates altoidsaddict. And radical feminism. And the overuse of the word vitriol.

Classy.

Maybe a much better meme is to read and review each of his books. I mean, there are lame-os like me who only read parts of Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas and 1972 Campaign Trail

I put up the `96 Mararitaville Records audio version of FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS (with Harry Dean Stanton!) up using YouSendIt, but it's already been downloaded as many times as they allow; I could repost it if there's enough people wanting it.

Been listening to that, watching the Gilliam/Depp movie, wearing my old Fear & Loathing t-shirt, and feeling sick inside.

Try some better reading comprehension next time dumbass. I assumed she was part of feminist_rage because she is similar in character to them. The word 'vitriol' is groslly overused by the feminist_rage group and certain cliques within the feminist community. I wouldn't complain about the word if I hadn't seen it used 98321923817 times by the same groups of people.

I'm pretty sure that once you've ridden with the Hell's Angels and then had them kick the shit out of you, you're not exactly a "poser" anymore. And of course, Njyoder knows whereof he speaks, right?
