Posting this here 'cuz I dunno if religion is a fandom, but if it's not, I'd like to know why: it has many rabid fanbois and fangirls who are just as wanky o.O

It ashames me, but I have to admit it: My mother is an Orlando Bloom fangirl. As such, she asked me to find the trailer and pictures of Orli's new movie Kingdom of Heaven.
Once in IMDB.com, I felt compelled to go to the message board. Dunno, the TWS controls my life lately.

Anyways...

The movie is about the Crusades, you know, the whole Christians vs. Muslims war back in the Middle Ages.
In the board, there is a thread named "evil muslims" that has nothing to do with the movie and that is just as stoopid as it sounds.

And, among many other things, Godwin is in there already.

I'm afraid I just skipped the wank and went straight to the trailer for sarky comments.

So, is Orlando playing a Christian who was already in Jerusalem, a nice Muslim boy who joins the Christians, or just a very very improbably-historically character?

Glad to see they've cast both Celeborn and Menelaus as well - personally, I wonder how early Brendan Gleeson's character will die in this and how glad he'll be to do so - the man was practically grinning with joy during his death scene in Troy.
