My first try!
Ragnarok Online: an insanely popular MMORPG in Asia that's hit American shores and made its own splash. Populated by an audience of all ages, people tend to see only the idiots that run around begging for money, scamming, and causing a general ruckus.
Forums for RO fans and players are not limited to these aforesaid types, even if there are a lot of good people on it as well. I'm a mod at one in particular called RO-World.
Enter Outrespective, self-designated RO-World forum nanny. (Or "God," if you want to depend on his self-edited forum title.)
Outrespective has this annoying habit of correctly peoples' behaviors in the General forum by being a hypocrite to do it. "These threads are TRASH," he exclaims over and over again, hoping that the administrators will grant him mod-hood because he's such a little snitch. Finally, he decided to make his own off-topic, whining post on the subject in the General forum. Smart.
People jump on him about it. He can't practice what he preaches! Outrespective valiantly defends himself with faulty logic.
A moderator (Leon) comes along and moves it to its proper place. An obligatory PWNED picture follows as a mockery of Outrespective's hate of "replying to threads with only pictures."
Outrespective, hurt, lashes back at Leon. "Are you the thread dictator?" (Regis makes a cameo appearance afterward.)
Everyone informs him that Leon is a moderator. Outrespective counters witlessly and wonders, "Since when was Leon a mod?" Again, every informs him that Leon has been a moderator for a long while.
Bluemeep, resident artist that posts comics in flaming threads, puts up this little gem:

The smoke clears. Everything seems over. (For now.)
