Mel Gibson says Award Shows are Stupid. He also says that the Oscars treated his movie as a political football and wouldn't reward it (just them, huh?). And that it's really all about marketing. (Yeah, Million Dollar Baby sure saturated the market.)

I wonder if he was thinking this when he got the award for Braveheart.
