Over on the LJ comm Ohnotheydidnt (a place for celebrity gossip), PirateyWench posts about Kristie Ally pissing off the eating disorder groups, and then insults those same people.

Includes the line: "Also, some of you have about as much humour in your bodies as a dead duck being screwed by its necrophiliac-mallard rapist." She even includes a link.

Agreed, only because anyone who follows Scientology is an idiot, IMO. (Normally, I don't make blanket statements like that, but after reading up on it and listening to its followers--or clams, if you will--say stuff that flies in the face of earth logic repeatedly, I think I have the evidence to back it up.)

Also, even though that particular Jenny Craig hasn't aired in awhile, "FETT-uh-CHEEEE-NEEEE!" still squeals in my head. Argh!

There really isn't anything funny about eating disorders. That's like saying there is something funny about cancer.

Damn good thing you weren't around when my grandma was dying of cancer then, my sensitive friend. Especially since she was the one making the jokes. Whatever would you have made of that? Call us all souless, black hearted people? Well...erm...shit, ya got me on that one. But the jokes were still funny!

Well, seeing as how Grandma had cancer, she was in and out of the hospital a bit. When she was in the hospital, they'd give her morphine. Well, morphine made her hallucinate and she kept seeing a little black shitzu. So until she died, she kept making jokes about Grandma's morphine dog.

I remember being very disappointed at my grandmother's funeral, since I was finding out so much about her. "She marched on Washington? She knew King and all of them? She got arrested during a peace rally? Why didn't she ever TELL us any of this?!?!"

Wow. That must have been incredible and at the same time so disappointing that you never got to hear those stories from her.

Stuff like that has hit me little by little since my grandma's death, but so far nothing that big has ever been revealed about her.

Yeah, exactly. My grandpa, on going through chemo, used to joke about his radioactive balls. He used to say that it was a good thing grandma had gone through menopause, otherwise she would be giving birth to twenty-foot lizards.

How funny is that? (Super funny, 'cuz he's my grandpa.)
