"RPG journals Suck!"
Umm, hey. *waves*

So on the community You_make_LJ_suck, someone posts a journal of someone who might be RPing Katie Bell.

http://www.livejournal.com/community/u_make_lj_suck/407055.html

When did other LJers start dictating what you can and can't do with a livejournal?

They must never learn of my twenty-something RPG journals hidden within the depths of lj-space, only one of which is paid...

Jeez. If you've got a code and you use it, why should people be on your case for what you use it for?

Ha. Ha. Ha.

There are only a few people whose personal lives I would rather read than fiction. The people I care about.

I have to know you in some way before I want to read your 'personal reflections'. Usually I get to know people through fandom. Big shock, huh?

Jesus. I've got an RP journal for an RP that isn't even on LJ. Does that mean I suck?

Oh sweet Jesus.

[info]goneinsane is fucking hilarious. I mean...

"Fuck off you stupid chink."
"Uh, who the fuck said you were right, assmaster? Point to me WHERE IT SAYS LIVEJOURNAL IS FOR RPING, SHITFACE."
"Better "homophobic" than someone who likes anime, I guess."

YES.

The fact the he/she/it used the word "assmaster" made my day, though. ^^

Sounds like a term you hear from time to time in slash fic.

Or it's a porn flick title/series; either way.

For some reason, "assmaster" makes me think of outdoor equipment stores Margaret Cho's mom.

*ahem*

"WHAT IS ASS MASTER? IS IT A MASTER OF THE ASS?"

Ironic that he also uses the derogatory term "chink", considering where many first heard the term "assmaster".

I love the irony inherent in that the main page for U_Make_etc sears the eyeballs

Love your icon.

But if I may be on-topic in general: There are countless numbers of RPG journals. In fact, I used to have a few because I wanted to get the hang of writing in first person. Big whoop. I guess we should hang any author that's ever written in first person if living out a fictional character's life is bad while writing. (I'm looking at you especially, J.D. Salinger!! /sarcasm)

"RPG journals Suck!"

The way I see it is this: it's my code, so I'll redeem it however I wish.

I've already got a personal LJ; I really don't see the need for ten more like it, and since I like to RP, why NOT use some of these codes for games? It's a pleasant distraction.

"But you could donate your codes to the needy!!"

(How does being LJ-less equate to being "needy"?) If they want a LJ, all they need do is ask nicely, and I'll give 'em one.

If anyone in that thread has zero life, it's the OP.

Not to mention zero imagination and zero creativity...

And not to mention, that chances are if someone doesn't have a friend who can spare a code, and can't cough up five bucks, their journal is probably going to be boring and dull anyway.

Not in all cases, but in most of them. Let's face it, if anyone is interested in what you have to say, they'll give you a code.
