Nothing against it, mind you, but the whole "it's cool" thing is a bit silly. Face it, if we're talking popularity, it's really not. It always amuses me when people try to pass off morality as being stylish. "Drugs aren't cool, man!" "Drinking's for losers!" "God is hip!"

Face it, it's not "cool" and probably won't get you in the popular crowd - it's a personal decision, and your own business, not the new pokemon fad.

I remember this nasty teenage kid I saw long ago on a talk show promoting an abstinence organization. He had apparently lost his virginity but gone back to abstinence. (Lest anyone watching think he wasn't cool enough to get laid).

When people said his choice wasn't for everyone, he kept saying over and over "It's not for everyone, it's only for the best." At the time I actually thought that sex should be for marriage (not something I now believe) and I nonetheless wanted to reach through the TV and punch his smart-ass mouth.
