I dunno, there's one out there for etherial beauties and a million zillion others for pretty people, emo people ect. I guess that fat people who base their self worth on the opinions of strangers need a community where one can be fat and still considered pretty.

That's...weird. She looks very non-fat to me. I mean, not skinny, but average or thereabouts. And I wouldn't think she wasn't a size eight; I know two people can be exactly the same height/size and still look pretty different. Same with weight. Which is why I never get it when someone says 'oh, such and such actress say's she's *insert weight here*, but she CLEARLY is lying because I'm *insert weight here* and she doesn't look anything close to it.'

My guess is that those are probably the three bad pictures out of her 24 exposure roll of film that were taken at an unflattering angle, and she decided, on the basis of those, that she was OMGSOFAT.

Speaking as someone who photographs like shit the vast majority of the time, that is.

differnt proportions of fat and muscle. muscle is more dense than fat. same reason the BMI is a load of crock.

if she really wanted a self-esteem bost sheld just need to go to a convention and spot the token 300lb+ scantily clad catgirl (it is this reason I'll never go to AnimeNorth or what ever the hell the big Con in Toronto is, ever again). I like women with some thickness but there is a limit to what looks good.

My mom does that obnoxious shit. She's 5'1" and usually about 110. And whines that she might gain weight. No, bitch, you're emaciated! You could stand to gain about 20 pounds!

Although with us, it's always the other way around - I'm always bitching at her to put on some weight. ^^V Occasionally, though, she'll come out with this really bizarre "You were the perfect size when you were 12" stuff - yeah, when I was twelve, I was the same height I am now (about 5'1" 1/2 to 5'2") but weighed 115. And the only reason I was that small was because she never fucking fed me. Okay!

I don't know where you're from, but a US size 8 is a more or less the equivalent of a Belgian/Dutch/German size 38 and a UK size 10.

I don't have a clue about US women's sizes, either, and I am from the US. Men's sizing is done in inches, women's seems to be just random numbers.
