Multi-directional wank
For me at least, it started here in childfree, with an against-the-rules post that nevertheless pointed to singleparents, where dripping_ruby makes a post about letting her daughter gnaw the price tag off of a stuffed dog and then refusing to pay for it, trotting out the old tired "I'm spending $60 dollars here BOW before my money-bestowing!11!!"

Other parents and a few drifters try to tell her she's in the wrong, and dripping_ruby quickly goes from parent to whiny teenager with the biggest sense of entitlement I've seen in many a'year 'round these here parts.

Edit: Okay, so some of the other posts are flocked, but the main one in singleparents isn't as of this posting.

Quite a lot of people, actually. I work at an Old Navy and you wouldn't believe how many customers let their spawn suck on the baby socks. On the bright side, they usually actually buy said socks. On the bad side, a few don't bother to tell me that, so when I'm ringing them up I get a handful of baby spit. The first time it happened, a lady didn't tell me her brat had been chewing on the socks because she was busy on her phone. I pretended to drop something, ducked behind the register and spit on my hands right before she handed me her credit card. Immature? Yes. Satisfying? Oh yeah (I also had someone whose kid not only chewed on the socks, but was sucking on the handles of the cart. Which was a double ew because 1) who knows what's on that handle and 2) other people are going to have to use that cart, lady).

	The bottom line is that I'm about to spend close to 60 dollars on these clothes, OHMYGODZORZ! A whole 60-bucks? Why aren't they giving her manicures and rolling out the red carpet for Ms Big Spender? Why the fuck didn't you buy her the toy since she liked it so much? You're a Mean Auntie. Winnar!
