	Here's the meat of it. Unfortunately none of the thread links; he baleeted it RIGHT as I was about to grab some of the REALLY wanky subthreads. I thought this would get a special place here sooner or later. The trouble with all this is: who gets to decide what's funny and what isn't? One can't just say "These posts are lame and no longer funny". I know if I did that, I'd get the entirety of the MQ membership coming to disagree with me. Well, about eighteen of them, in any case.

Having said that, I do occasionally notice a bit of people posting quotes by their mates, or people posting quotes just because they happened to be by a particular person - but wasn't there a scene a while back where somebody got banned for repeatedly posting his friend's quotes for the sake of it?

Eh, this happens in every fandom and every forum in existence. There'll always be times when most of the topics are about a particular subject, or someone will squall that somebody else is getting too much attention, or the posts OMG OH NO aren't as fantabulous as they expect them to be. And then someone whines that it's the newbies' fault and waaaah it used to be BETTER...when in fact "back in the old days" either A) they were the newbies or B) they whined the same exact thing. Meh. Someone out there is laughing, and life goes on. :)

	And it's indeed deleted now. I have a newer save from today. I changed the source so that the first (thread) link in every beaded thread actually leads to the saved page.
