Well, see, when you get down to basic reasons why people hate homosexuality, there are three things: 1. anal sex is nasty 2. gay people don't make baybeez and making them is everyone's true purpose 3. it is feminine for a guy to like a guy and we can only just barely tolerate femininity in those silly lower female creatures, it is unacceptable in males.
Two of those three objections don't come into play when lesbians are discussed. Add to that how some people think they don't even exist, the fact that many people are fine with lesbians because they think they are there purely for straight male sexual entertainment, and often an attitude that homosexuality is degrading but is more okay and normal for women since being female or feminine is already degrading...and so lesbians don't get whined about nearly as much as gay guys.

Homosexualiy in nature is extremley rare that it may as well be a statistical error.

Nope, that was the comment that got me, too. I sort of had to double take at that one.

And I would _love_ to see how this person thinks they're going to study homosexuality being a social condition cause as far as I can tell, that would be impossible to verify due to the fact that you can't...you know... assign people to "gay" and "not gay" groups. WTF, correlational study, helloooo...
