I'm not closed minded, anime is teh lame.
So, Howl's Moving Castle is a recent release (in Japan and not heathen locales) of acclaimed Japanese director Miyazaki. It is coming to the United States, to the delight of many fans of anime and Miyazaki alike!

However all is not well in IMDB message board land.

It seems prettykitti is a big fan of the book, but not so much of the movie (well, at least the idea of it, she doesn't want to see it, not even for 99 cents):
Whoever decided to make this into a japanese animated cartoon is an idiot and I hope somthing happens and it can't be released.

Anyways. So people reason, the Iraqi war and American Idol, and some zen:

Perhaps you should actually see the film before forming such a extreme opinion. Though what does it matter now. Your narrow mind had already made its decision.
