Racism & Sports Wank!
I know. You're all incredibly shocked.

The head coach of the University of Oklahoma's baseball team used the "n-word" twice in off-camera interviews with ESPN last week. Of course, there's wank over on the OSU chat boards, but the prime material is on SoonerFans.com. The spooge really starts to fly on page 4 between Herr Scholz and...pretty much everyone else on the forum. Strangely enough, this is despite the fact that they all seem to agree on the major points.

Highlights:

Using a racist epithet =/= burning churches.

Someday, we'll all be fired for using the word "redneck."

But rappers use the n-word all the time! (you saw that one coming, didn't you?)

Bob thinks the phrase "to jew someone down" is common parlance.

"Nobody (especially a liberal white boy who doesn't have a clue about real racism - except for what some birkenstock wearing fag prof at UT told you) has the authority to dictate when it's "appropriate" or not."

"And I'm very happy you're entertaining black folks at lunch. That's mighty white of you."

"I don't entertain 'black folks'. I eat lunch with my friends. This may be a foreign concept to you."

And for sheer WTFery:

"Is it okay for a Native American who plays for the redskins to call their teamate nigger?"
