Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Childfree's at it again.
In customers_suck, the popular poster squigglz mentions that she is pregnant. In childfree, bonefig slams squigglz's life choices. (ETA: Entry is now locked.) Squigglz responds in her journal.

It's sixth grade writ large.

No shit. Typical of the childfree mindset though. I sort of wondered when the c_f sharks would close in after I saw her post ealier today on c_s. They all need a big cup of STFU with a side of MYOB.

I think she means that the sperm have this coating the helps them survive the hostile environment inside a woman's body so they can manage to live long enough to fertilize an egg. I know I'm not explaining it very well but yes, such a thing does exist.

And WTF would you want to not be careful with that guy, yeesh. I've enjoyed her boobie bar stories but WTF girl?

Did you actually bother to READ her journal? He's her husband, not just a boyfriend. Yes, there has been some emotional abuse on his part in the past, never any physical abuse. Yes, they chose to try to work things out. No, it's not your business to judge or criticize.

Cause once a person gets pregnant/has kids, they automatically lose their intetesting? :P

Didn't you know that once the test is positive, the brains of a female shrink, shrivel and wither until there's no trace of their previous personality left, just poo consistency, diaper comparisons and milk?

Yyyyeah. I've had e-mails from people who are omg shocked that I write slash and have other fannish hobbies. Apparently fandom isn't compatible with having kids.

A lot of times, yes.

There are lots of stories on childfree where friends have turned into completely kid-obsessed people with no identity apart from their children after spawning.

Now the only time she'll talk about boobs is when she's using them as milk bottles

Such a tragedy.

Did you see her request for pregnancy/parenting communities? BREEDER TENDENCIES AHOY! :p

Did I miss the memo where it's weird for pregnant women to learn about being pregnant?

It's amazing, the breeder mindset

So, it's safe to assume all "breeders" are the same? Do they have a hive vagina too?

*loling*

Some people do. I've known people once they've had kids become so centered around them they have nothing else to their personality. It's freaky. I have two kids and i'm not like that. If i ever was i'd hope someone would put me out of my misery.

I love how she says she doesn't fit the stripper stereotype but she:

1. Has a history with abusive men
2. Is stupid about birth control/STD protection
3. Has at least one unplanned pregnancy and I wouldn't be surprised if the last one (the one she miscarried) was also unplanned

Good lord. She's only a drug/alcohol addiction away from being THE stripper stereotype.

If there's one thing that's amazing about childfree, it's how those wankers can instantly make me sympathize with a pregnant, indecisive stripper.

I bet they could make me sympathize with friggin' Rick Santorum if they decided to pile on him.

I only wish their powers could be used for my own nefarious ends good.

And as a side note, I'd like to mention that one cf-er's icon, the one which informs us that we must make a choice between having a baby and having a kitten is absolutely hilarious. Because, like, it'd be impossible to have a baby AND a kitten. IT WOULD RUPTURE THE FABRIC OF TIME TO BE SURE!!! Or maybe they mean that if they choose to, they could actually GIVE BIRTH to a kitten instead of a human baby?
I don't even particularly like kids but that comm always makes me want to pop out a baby or 12 just out of spite.

Seriously, though.

On one hand...she did announce it publicly, and I assume that her entries about her relationship were also public. Even then, you can never expect privacy on the Internet.

On the other hand...is it just something about [info]childfree that dictates that they usually come off as condescending, sanctimonious, and generally vile? Or is it just me?
