This one has all the classics -- politics, spelling and OMGSOOMEEEEN!!! Not to mention a batshit dictator.

Over on </a></a>mock_the_stupid, </a></a>caseypuffy posts about crazy leader of Turkmenistan Saparmurat Niyazov. People boggle politely, then </a></a>tanisnikana makes a comment, now deleted so I can't link to it, which apparently was to the effect that batshit Central Asian dictators have nothin' on good ol' W. People are generally pissed off for a while, but eventually all quietens down.

Until </a></a>thiscoinferno posts correcting another commentor's spelling of the word "jail" (both posts also now deleted). Several people reply, correcting </a></a>thiscoinferno, and pointing out that "gaol" is a perfectly acceptable spelling in Britain and elsewhere. </a></a>thiscoinferno gets progressively more annoyed.

But that's not all! </a></a>ranger_1 posts correcting the OP's (fairly abysmal) spelling, and others chime in. The OP strikes back with a biting putdown, and follows it up immediately with tragic news of their imminent departure! (Translation: "U R all so meeen! I'm leeeving!")

That's 57 varieties of wank right there. Grab a spoon!

	Huh. I guess that's what I get for obtaining most of my vocabulary from reading and then ignoring the pronunciation key in the dictionary. I always pronounced it in my head (never had occasion to actually say it) with a "g" as in "goat" instead of "g" as in "Geoffrey". Fandom Wank proves edumacational once again!
