Wank at Female Misoginy Comm!
[info]charlycrash feels it's his right to express himself about what the thinks of feminism. Okay. Here you have his post.

1. The word 'feminist'. I'm starting to loathe this word with a passion. Why? Because first and foremost, despite the apparent opinion of many feminists, feminism should be about true gender equality, and loading a word with such gender value gets right up my left nostril, not to mention misleads people both inside and outside the movement as to it's true nature. Men feel under attack at the best of times so it's not really a good idea to apparently confirm this. 'Equalitist' (or perhaps 'non-dickhead') would be far more preferable imo.

2. 'Girl power'. Fuck you with very large brass knobs on. Okay, so that term and that whole set of pseudo-feminist drivel is far from in the ascendency any more, but it works very nicely as a metaphor for everything wrong with much modern feminism.

3. The party girl phenomena. I'm not sure how widespread this is, but it's unbearably sick. The general concept is this: Woman finds sucker dude, preferably with a dick-led brain and large wallet generous nature. Woman then suckers the man, or more usually men, for all they can get - entrance into swanky clubs, him paying for her on holidays to the South of France, him buying her all the champagne her little public-school metabolism can take, fancy clothes, jewellery, etc. etc. all, presumably, under the illusion that he's going to get pussy at the end of it. This, as far as the 'party girl' is concerned, is never, ever going to happen. As far as she's concerned, she's providing a service - pleasant company, etc. - therefore her spoilt little ego isn't damaged by the fact that she's basically exploiting the dude for every last penny she can screw out of him. At the same time, she is, for all intents and purposes, a kept woman. And all this is done under the banner of fucking 'girl power' or similar hey-i'm-a-girl-and-i'm-fucking-over-a-guy-therefore-i'm-empowered-and-great bullshit. Dragging gender roles back to the Fifties, acting like a fucking whore for all intents and purposes, and all done under the loving banner of feminism. That's quite an achievement.

4. The sweet smell of revenge. Follows from the above.. why is a woman who shreds all her cheating husband's clothes, drives his Porsche off a cliff, whatever, seen as somehow 'empowered' and 'right on' and 'standing up for herself' and not 'fucking psycho' and 'acting like an utter bitch'? Imagine a dude shredding all his cheating wife's clothes. You wouldn't hesitate one fucking second before labelling him possibly dangerous unbalanced.

5. Women expecting - rightly - equal treatment, lifestyle freedom, etc. etc. but still expecting men to 'act like men'. In a lot of cases, this seems to be more or less a synonym for 'paying for everything'. Imagine a romantic dinner out somewhere where the couple split the bill, let alone her picking it up. Gasp shock horror what an unromantic bastard. For one thing, this is common-or-garden financial emasculation of women so the men feel big-pimpin' being able to waggle their huge dicks wallets in your faces that's been going on since the year dot, and for another it's screamingly unfair. We go on a date together, chances are if you think of me badly because I suggested we split the bill, there is no second date. What I look for in a woman is, primarily, no desire for her to be 'the chick' and me to be 'the guy'. We are two individuals who happen to dig each other, on completely equal terms, as completely equal people in every way. I may pay for you half the time cuz I feel like treating you, but not doing the same about the same amount of time is fucking rude. Imagine a friendship that worked that way.

Oh yeah, things are relatively civil for a while. But after arrives...

Things start to go downhill soon. REAL soon.

Special mention to the Banner of Retardment and boirozzlyn's scary "MY DICK IZ BIGGER THAN THE INTERNET!!!111" icon.

This officially marks the first time I've been compelled to holler ICON LOVE about an icon I don't understand in the slightest.

But it's a PUG! In a JESTER HAT! And he's SMILING! =D

I don't think very many real people actually behave as the example in no.3. As for no.4, I think a lot of women would agree (especially since I have heard of "revenge" cases where the recipient of said revenge didn't actually do anything worse than deciding the relationship was over. Sure, it sucks, but it's not an excuse to leave fish behind the radiator).

Anyway, I have little else to say, since the list is (as you say) not exactly a fragrant bouquet of originality.

*raises hand*

I could understand why someone would want to do something like that, but actually doing it is a big no-no in my book.

I think point 3 can be summed up as: "Waah, I bought my girlfriand stuff and she still didn't fuck me!"

Yep. My problem isn't with guys who think spending money on women entitles them to sex; my problem is with guys like that who insist on calling it dating and inflicting that on women who aren't in the business because they don't want to pay what the pros charge.

Word.

If this guy wants a money-exchanged-for-sex relationship he should just buy himself a hooker, it'd be easier on everyone in the long run.

Men who bitch about having to pay on dates and compare this to inequities in the job market work my last nerve.

Yes, going Dutch is unromantic--it's what you do with your friends. In a courtship, the person who asks is the person who pays; after a few dates, if the other person doesn't ask you out instead of the other way round, your interest is not returned.

If guys like this don't want to pay, they should only date women who ask them out.

going by that logic, few of them will actually get to breed, thus slowly lowering the population. I LIKE IT!

I love the way nothing in his points actually has any realtion to what feminism is about. In fact, I don't think he's ever encountered a feminist in his life. And I very much doubt it's going to happen on that community either. HUZZAH! Everybody's stupid and nobody wins except me!

RUN, BOYS, RUN; THE FEMINISTS HAVE COME FOR YOUR BALLS WALLET.

...Not terribly OT, but I've been wanting to say that all day.

I think my favorite WAH FEMINISM argument had to be the one where the guy argued that inequality was okay, because in the times of chivalry men were expected to throw their coats on mud puddles for women.

Well, considering that feminists are trying to fight for women's rights, it's kinda hard to tell them to 'shut up'.

1. The word 'feminist'. I'm starting to loathe this word with a passion.

Men weren't the ones who were being forced into domestic submission. It was the females who were trying to have their rights be equal, not the males, hence the name.

2. 'Girl power'. Fuck you with very large brass knobs on.

Agreed. 'Girl Power' usually is stuff like Charlie's Angels where the girls are basically 50's bimbos with obviously fake kung-pow abilities. Cameron Diaz in C.A. = Girl Power. Michelle Yeoh in anything = a powerful woman.

3. The party girl phenomena. I'm not sure how widespread this is, but it's unbearably sick. The general concept is this: Woman finds sucker dude, preferably with a dick-led brain and large wallet generous nature.
A. Nobody calls that feminism
B. In Japan, men payed exorbitant amounts for Geisha, and it wasn't for the sex, it was for their company - this is not some sort of new phenomona.
C. The men know what they're paying for, they understand that the company of these women is not free, and are willing to pay - it's their choice. If you are stupid enough to believe that a few drinks is a promise of sex down the road, you were stupid.

Because women are told that they have to be the sweet pasive ones, and so nobody expects them to take responsibility for "the little lady's" actions. They are hysterical but harmless so they don't mean any harm. Also, all that having to be nice and repress all your unpleasant emotions is enough to make anyone snap eventually. Once women stop being treated like cute little kittens who have to be sweet all the time, they'll start taking responsibility for their actions.
Also, these women were often expected to give up who they were in favor of supporting what their sig. other wanted, and the relationship was supposed to be their everything - no wonder they get upset when it goes away.

5. Women expecting - rightly - equal treatment, lifestyle freedom, etc. etc. but still expecting men to 'act like men'. In a lot of cases, this seems to be more or less a synonym for 'paying for everything'.
The person who asks, pays. Regardless of gender.

I think he's confusing "party girl" with "golddigger". Paris Hilton is a party girl (just like a million more all over the world) and I hardly think she needs to be a golddigger, what with her last name being Hilton and all. Also, when it comes to that sort of thing, it takes two to tango and the man who thinks he can win a woman's love by buying her lots of expensive shit is an idiot.

I'm in constant love with the argument that 'women' are hypocritical because they want equality, but also men paying for them. Erm...different women, mostly. The women who insist on a guy paying for all their dates and 'acting like men' exist, but are they really the same women who call themselves feminists? Not usually. 'Anything a woman does' does not equal 'feminism'.
